Let’s talk

When off-the-shelf software is enough

If your process is the same as that of many similar companies — invoicing, keeping track of contacts, running a simple warehouse — off-the-shelf software is usually enough and is up and running sooner.

Our rule is simple: no selling for the sake of it. If what you need is solved by a tool that already exists, we will tell you, even if it costs us the project.

Signs that you need something custom-built

  • A good part of the day goes on Excel sheets that only their author understands.
  • The same data is copied by hand between several tools.
  • The software doesn’t cover a key step of your process, and you solve it with emails and paper.
  • You can’t tell from clear data what works and what is costing you money.
  • To grow, you would have to hire someone just to move information around.

What a company gains with a custom system

A custom system is built on the way you work, not the other way round. With the same tool as your competitors you have the same limits; with your own, the system adapts to what sets you apart.

The goal isn’t to cut staff, but for your team to spend its time on what makes the company grow: automating the routine and measuring the result in hours recovered.

How to start without a giant project

The biggest risk with a custom system is treating it as a months-long project with no results in sight. That is why we work in phases: an initial assessment to understand your processes, then whatever saves you the most hours, and we measure each step before the next.

With large companies we start with a limited pilot: one concrete process, solved and measured. If it works, we grow from there.

Questions to ask any provider

  • Who owns the code when development ends? With us, you do.
  • Is the quote fixed?
  • What happens if I need changes or support after launch?
  • Can I start with one part and extend it later?
  • Do you use what you sell? We work every day with our own in-house ERP.
